My dark brown hair dye is white?

I've had my hair dyed before, but I'm doing the touch-up myself right now. When I mixed up the chemicals, instead of being a dark brown like it said on the bottle, it's a white substance. Since I've never dyed my hair by myself before, I don't know if this is normal. Is it?

I've seen it before. If there's something wrong, don't worry, the most it's going to do is not work... dye can't bleach your hair as far as I know.
