Is anyone on here mixed with black and white only, half and half? (question about hair)?

What kind of hairstyles do you wear? I am mixed with half white and half black (one parent each) and usually whoever is mixed like this has my kind of hair texture, I think.... but What kind of hairstyles do you wear?....and what is the main hair product you use on your hair? (such as hair spray, gel, some sort of shampoo or conditioner, stuff like that) I don't want to sound racist ( I know its really easy to sound racist on here) but i just want to know, because I can't find any good hairstyles for my color and hair texture, etc...

I might (?) be able to help. Im not Black %26amp; White but I am Black and Native. My father is African-American %26amp; my Mother is Chickahominy. We are both members of the Chickahominy Tribe of Eastern Va.

* You can be mixed an have a MIXED texture of hair or you can have inherited one or the other soley. I have mixed hair (however Im not sure if yours is like mine). Mine is more like my mothers but still somewhere inbetween.

I wash my hair every 3 or 4 days when it starts to get oily and stringy. I wash my hair with Cream of Nature (shampoo %26amp; conditoner in one) but I also use Motions at times (Whatever I see first at the store).

I also try to deep condition my hair every time I wash it or atleast once every two weeks. I use Motions CPR deep conditioner. It basically just gives my hair moisture (not oil), proteins and keep my ends from spliting.

I also try to stay away from heat. Those curling irons, flat irons and blow dryers whenever possible. I like to wrap my hair and let it just hang during the week. So after I wash my hair and condition it. I use a sit-under (hard hat, bonnet dryer) to get my wrap and curls. That way, I can leave those curlers and blow dryers alone.

So basically to answer your question: How do I where my hair?? I wear it in a wrap mostly. I also love roller-wraps. That is when you roll the middle of your hair at night (maybe 4 or 6 rollers) with just a small amount of hair. Then wrap the rest of your hair as you would normally in a wrap. Its really cute. So in the morning I have my wrap but it also has a little bounce to it.

I dont use Gel (its horrible for your hair) or oil hair-spray (because my hair makes its own) it would be an oily-stringy mess.

Well my neices are mixed,and they happen 2 have great hair.They usually have a half pony talk or just pin it up.They have soft, brown hair.
