And from dark to light...idk, it might not turn out the way you want it to, but I'm guessing not so cheap.

you can't do it all at once. it will fry your hair. you will have to gradually lighten it.

Why are you doing this in the first place? Going from such a dramatic dark shade to white is going to absolutely kill your hair and turn it to the consistency of straw; not even a professional hairdresser could save it from such a fate, I'm afraid.

As for what they'd charge, I'd guess over $100 if they're a reputable stylist. Anything less, I'd fear for the health of your hair, even above and beyond the abuse you'd be giving it by making such a change to the colour.

What I would suggest would be to buy a stripping shampoo to lighten your hair slightly over the course of a month or two, then have it professionally dyed.

You can get stripping shampoos and conditioners at nearly any beauty supply store.
