You are gonna have to treat with hot oil and a Strong conditioner Aussie makes many good ones but the 3 minute miracle is best. Your best bet is a professional but if you insist on doing it yourself just get a highlighting kit for red hair and that should at least make it look presentable. There is always a danger of breakage and balding though when you over process hair. Please be careful
