i am black and have thick hair, i have a relaxer. if you have had your hair done by someone that is not black what was your experience?

My best friends get theres done EVERY week by a white woman. It took one of them a couple of months to find the right person to do it. I guess it is one of those things that you have to try out with a couple of people to get the one you want. :) Good Luck!!!

it would be about the same. i've had my hair done by white and black ladies and they did pretty much the same, nice style. it sound to me like your just being prejudice

I had my hair done by someone who was not black. Relaxer and style. It turned out very bushy, and I looked like a Chia Pet...lol...not good at all. I'm not racist at all, it's just my experience. It could have been that she just wasn't a good stylist.

I've had a wash-trim-blow dry done by non-blacks. It turned out nice.

I've only had a Dominican and Black hair stylist.

My hair is natural, so yeah, a Caucasian person might not be able to control it lol.
